John and Carol Duryea have been married since 1982 and have two sons. They have lived in New York, Virginia, and Florida.
John is a graduate of the University of Central Florida, where he earned a Doctorate Degree in Educational Leadership. He has held various leadership positions within higher education since 1989 including assistant professor, executive director, and dean.
Carol is a graduate of Adelphi University, where she earned a Master’s Degree in Social Work and works as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. Her work spans across a number of areas including parenting & family support, hospice, and oncology.
